LABOR TO CHECK OVER THE EXHAUST AND FOUND THAT THE VEHICLE WILL NEED 3 PATCHES AND A SPHERICAL JOINT. ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS IS $425-450. LABOR TO DIAGNOSE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. FOUND THAT THERE WERE MULTIPLE CODES. (P0301-CYLINDER MISFIRE, P030,P0305, O0014 B CAMSHAFT POSITION TIMING OVER ADVANCED OR SYSTEM PERFORMANCE BANK 1. FOUND THAT THE EXHAUST VVT SOLENOID WILL NOT OPERATE EVEN WITH THE SCAN TOOL. CYLINDER 1,3 AND 5 ARE MISFIRING BECAUSE OF IT. THERE IS LOTS OF MOUSE DEBRIS UNDER INTAKE MANIFOLD AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT IN GENERAL. B1 EXHAUST VVT HAS BROKEN HOLD DOWN BOLT, SO WAS UNABLE TO SWAP SOLENOIDS, TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM SWITCHES TO DIFFERENT BANK. CUSTOMER DOES NOT WISH TO REPAIR AT THIS TIME.
